To soundproof drums in a city apartment, one can use a soundproofing mat by placing it underneath the drum set. This will help absorb and dampen the sound vibrations, preventing them from traveling through the floor and walls. Additionally, using soundproofing panels on the walls and ceiling can further reduce the noise. It's also important to consider using electronic drum pads or mesh heads to minimize the impact noise. Overall, using a combination of soundproofing mats, panels, and quieter drumming equipment can help minimize the noise of drumming in a city apartment. **
